How to play
Draw a wavy line from left to right, press play, and hear what it turned into. You can switch the tone, loop it, or load a demo.
What it's made of
The line is sampled into 16 points and mapped by height onto a pentatonic scale. Web Audio synthesizes it live. Zero audio files.
Limits
Fewer than three points makes no melody. With the sound off, the playhead still moves.
What I was thinking while building it
I picked a pentatonic scale so almost anything you draw sounds okay. And with the sound off, at least there's still a line moving.
