One a Minute
An old instrument that asks nothing of you. Press start, and it chimes once on every minute. The paper tape keeps the record.

Press start once. After that it runs itself.
How to play
Press Start it up, then leave it alone. It chimes on every minute; the tape records the time and pitch. In a hurry? Hit Chime once.
What it's made of
It rides the system wall clock. Pitch cycles through a pentatonic scale, synthesized live in Web Audio. No audio files.
Limits
Browsers require one click before any sound. Leave the tab and the clock stops; come back and it realigns, without chiming for the minutes you missed.
What I was thinking while building it
A browser won't let a page make noise on its own, so the first click is mandatory. After that it follows the wall clock, not your patience.
